各位亲爱的康奈尔同学朋友，大家好，

四海笙歌迎虎岁，九州英杰跃鹏程 。

在2010新春佳节即将到来之际，康奈尔大学中国学者学生联合会向身在倚色佳的中国学子学者致以亲切的问候，预祝大家虎年学业有成，万事如意！

刚刚迈越365个昼夜，仿佛是365个台阶，横亘在未及封尘的历史上。初来时的兴奋与迷蒙，思念家乡的情愫与忧愁，成长过程经历的坎坷，拼搏后回首成功的喜悦，秋去冬来，渐入于倚色佳的宁静淳朴，融化在康奈尔的人情温暖之中。春已归来，珍藏往昔千百感触，让我们作别二零零九，在辞旧迎新的喜庆气氛中步入崭新的一年，向着梦想——飞翔吧！

寻根中华，同庆佳节，由Cornell CSSA和MCSA精心打造的2010大型春节联欢晚会，将于2010年2月13日除夕之夜在于Alice Statler Auditorium隆重举行。届时拥有715个座位的演出大厅将被浓郁的节日气氛渲染。

美味可口的团圆饭，匠心独具的康大学生自导自演的情景剧，精彩纷呈的歌舞表演，Cornell 2010 春节联欢晚会组委会殷切相邀所有身在Cornell的中国学生学者同寄遥思，共度难忘除夕之夜。

春节晚会活动具体安排如下：

With the advent of 2010 Lunar New Year (Year of Tiger), Cornell CSSA would like to send the best regards to Chinese students and scholars, and wish everyone great success in the coming new year!

The past year of 2009, mingled with all sorts of experiences, are like threads of emotions woven into the warmth of Cornell community. Treasuring up the past and looking forward to 2010, Cornell CSSA and MCSA will host a Spring Festival Gala to celebrate the arrival of the Lunar New Year and sincerely invite you to our most important event of the year. We promise a memorable New Year Eve, sumptuous feast, original play and fabulous performances put up by our students, as well as fun-filled activities.

主题：CSSA Gold Card Expiration Date Extended to May 1st, 2010

Dear Friends,
Wish you and your family all a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!

You can use your current CSSA Gold Card which has “valid dates 12/31/09″ till May 1st, 2010. Please let us know if there is any trouble or problem occur. We will fix it as soon as possible.

As we are trying to hold a big and unforgettable Spring Festival celebration in February and more events in the coming new semester, we want to keep our Gold Card as a “Thank you gift” for donations more than 10 dollars to CSSA. Please contact Chao Fang (607-339-3458 fangchao111@gmail.com) if you are interested. The introduction of our Gold Card is attached.

CSSA即将举行首届校园卡拉OK大赛。第一轮初赛定于9月12号星期六6：30pm，位于Willard Straight Hall的music room。
届时将有23位一流歌手献唱，加上6位评委的精彩评点，场面壮观！CSSA将在现场提供饮料和小食。周六Willard Straight Hall，欢迎所有感兴趣的同学到场观战！

Aug. 31st 迎新活动总结

8月22日，康奈尔大学CSSA在Phillips Hall 101隆重举办了2009年新生欢迎会，超过200多名不远万里从祖国赶来的新生组成了康奈尔大学历史上最庞大的新生团体。吴昕蔚主席首先代表CSSA热烈欢迎所有的新同学，并真挚感谢了所有为迎接新生，特别是组织和参与到有史以来第一次免费的接机活动中，付出辛勤汗水，时间，精力与赞助的同学和组织。彭松明同学接着介绍了CSSA2009届委员会的构成，并鼓励有兴趣的同学积极参与到CSSA的大家庭中来，获得了新生们很好的反响。之后孙妙与陈洁同学让大家分成四个游戏小队，不仅通过互相交流使得更多的同学认识了彼此，更利用丰富多彩的游戏使大家乐在其中，度过了一个非常难忘的夜晚！整个活动中，由CSSA的成员和志愿者准备的丰富水果和副食，也获得了同学们很好的称赞。欢迎活动结束后，不少同学接着转战Willard Straight Hall进行了丰富的新老生交流，扑克，麻将，卡拉OK等活动，使新生朋友们感受到了虽在异乡，却仍能尽情参与到大家喜闻乐见的丰富传统活动中的乐趣。整个活动取得了圆满成功，让我们再一次真挚的感谢所有为此次活动付出努力的同学们，并让我们真心的祝愿每一位即将迎来新学期的新生与老生朋友们：学业进步，身体健康，让我们一起为自己的青春继续书写漂亮的篇章！

西方的情人节已在你的日历上占据了不可忘却的一角的时候，你是否还知道在我们伟大的传统文化中，早已有了七夕牛郎织女相会的动人故事？当如今生活在平淡简单的美国大农村时，我们是否还会想起昔日在各自母校紧张学习之余仍然奋战BBS潜水灌水拍砖挖坑的日子？

又是一年七夕时，让我们以最激动的心情宣布：康奈尔大学第一届CSSA BBS全站深情大聚会将于8月26日七夕节震撼登场！
